Mais \u00e0 une \u00e9poque o\u00f9 les b\u00e2timents \u00e9taient de toutes fa\u00e7ons mal isol\u00e9s, le principal inconv\u00e9nient d\u2019une mauvaise \u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9 \u00e9tait surtout l\u2019inconfort apport\u00e9 par les courants d\u2019air&nbsp;notamment en hiver, et c\u2019est essentiellement sur cet aspect qu\u2019on recherchait \u00e0 \u00e9tancher les entr\u00e9es d\u2019air.
